I will start this blog in the appropriate place, an introduction as to what I hope to succeed by having a blog at all. It is really me just being lazy as I don’t particularly have anything interesting to say right now, it will be a little bit like writing a poem about a poem or a story about a story except it will lack any creativity.
This blog exists because hopefully with any luck this point will turn out to be a relatively important crossroad in a relatively unimportant life. In the next couple of months I plan to up sticks and move to Korea for a year or so.
It is my hope that through the wonders of modern technology I shall be able to keep you all up to date (and mildly entertained) with tales from what by then may be a modestly interesting life. It will also be a place to collect and organise some of my thoughts in a more formal way. Hopefully by putting my opinions and interests in writing I may become a little bit more passionate about them.
I'm not going to tell many people about it to start with as I'm not very good at expressing myself in writing and hope to have things vetted until I get my style right. Also as it might be 2-3 months before I leave you might find yourself bored by the daily tribulations of an unemployed child faced 22 year old.
I will try my best to finish my blogs with a little snapshot of my brain that is hard to get across in words. I will give you a joke and a song and a word in Korean to help anyone who ever wants to visit me.
